Artist's Comments
This submission had me thinking for a while for an idea since I was doing it for another person. Then I heard this track called "H.E.R", which I've known about for a while, and the general feel to the song allowed for some ideas to be inspired.
I was talking to a friend of mine who's a writer. He basically asked me to do an image for him to accompany some of his writing. The theme was to project a situation where you have feelings for someone and you can't do anything about it really. It isn't so much that you are jealous of it or don't like that she is happy. This is why the image was created with giving the feeling of being high. Even if he can't be with her, he is still happy to have known her either way. At times true love can be portrayed even without having to be with another. The key to this image was to get something done which simplicity and not make it a complex piece of work. I came up with a few ideas with him and this seemed to work the best. I'm sure most of us have been in this sort of situation at one point in our lives. Anyway, enough of the background information. Hope you all enjoy the view and thanks for checking it out. : ) "She was not with I but.. H.E.R essence still got me high on life." A couple of brushes were used that I don't remember where I got them from at this time.
